Cedar Privacy Fencing
Privacy fencing and gates that give a newer backyard a finished edge, set on footings built for Oregon's wet ground.

Sherwood has grown fast, and a lot of its homes came with a yard that was never really finished. We drive in from Beaverton regularly to build the patios, fences, irrigation and planting that make those yards feel like part of the house.

The Sherwood Standard
We build patios, fencing, irrigation, drainage and full outdoor living spaces for Sherwood homeowners, from Old Town and the established streets near downtown to the newer subdivisions on the edges of town. Many of those newer lots were graded quickly during construction and left with a thin layer of topsoil over compacted fill.
So we start underground: grade, soil and drainage first. A patio on a properly compacted base stays level. A lawn on amended soil roots deep. A fence set with the right footing stays straight. That groundwork is what separates a yard that looks good for a season from one that still looks good in ten years.

5reasons
Most companies talk about design first. We talk about compaction first, because that's the part that decides whether a patio holds up for twenty years or sinks in two.
We correct builder grading, amend the soil and plan drainage before the new patio, lawn or beds go in, so the yard works with the house instead of against it.
Privacy fences and gates set with proper post footings, so they don't lean after the first wet winter.
We're licensed for backflow testing and hold our own permits in Oregon (LCB #9957) and Washington (GCC #OLGUICL807RZ).
The team that designs your project is the team that builds it, from the base and drainage to the irrigation and lighting. Not a sub we handed it off to.

Design · Construct · Maintain
In Sherwood, most of our work is finishing newer yards: paver patios, fencing and gates, irrigation, sod and planting, plus drainage corrections where the builder grade missed. Design, construct, maintain: that's the whole relationship, not just the install.

Yes. We're licensed for backflow testing in-house and hold our own permits in both Oregon and Washington, so nothing gets subbed out or delayed waiting on someone else's schedule.
Start with the ground. Before choosing pavers or plants, we check the grade, the soil and where water goes after a storm, then design the patio, lawn, beds and irrigation around that. Fixing the base first is cheaper than redoing finished work later.
Sometimes. Fence height limits and taller retaining walls are generally covered by City of Sherwood rules, and many newer neighborhoods also have HOA guidelines. We check what applies to your property during the estimate and pull our own permits.
It depends on scope. A patio is a different timeline than a full retaining wall and drainage overhaul. We'll walk you through a realistic timeline during your design consultation.
Yes, we offer a 3D design consultation so you can see the layout before construction starts.
If your project touches drainage or storm lines, Clean Water Services is a good starting reference for Washington County, and we're a good next call.
