Seasonal Clean-Ups
Spring sets your landscape up for the season. Fall protects it through winter. We do both thoroughly, not just a surface sweep before the next rain undoes it.

The Service
Oregon's fall is hard on landscapes. Wet leaves mat down on turf and smother it. Debris settles into beds and holds moisture against crowns and stems. Gutters fill and back up against the foundation. A proper fall clean-up isn't leaf blowing, it's clearing beds, cutting back perennials at the right time, removing debris from hardscape, and leaving the property protected for what's coming.
Spring is the other half. Removing winter debris before it smothers new growth, edge-defining beds that spread over winter, pruning deadwood before the season's growth begins, and setting the property up for the next six months of looking its best. Both clean-ups are done thoroughly, not rushed through to squeeze in the next job.

5core dimensions
Full leaf removal from turf, beds, and hardscape, not blown to the fence line. Bagged and hauled, or mulched in place where appropriate for soil health.
Dead annuals pulled, perennials cut back at the right time for the species, bed edges re-defined, and debris cleared from around plant crowns.
Late-season pruning of shrubs and perennials timed for Oregon's climate, not a generic calendar. Deadwood removed, shape maintained.
Debris cleared from patios, walkways, and steps. Gutters cleared where accessible, protecting drainage and foundation from overflow backup.
Soil turned in planting beds, early weed removal before establishment, and mulch refreshed where needed to set the season up correctly.

Done thoroughly across turf, beds, and hardscape, not blown to the fence line. The work that protects your property through six months of Oregon rain.

Cut back perennials, timed for species, not the calendar
Clear beds of dead annuals and spent material
Re-define bed edges before winter softens them
Clear hardscape surfaces and accessible gutters

Timed before the growth season begins so the property hits its peak when everyone is outside, not weeks behind catching up.

Prune deadwood and shape shrubs before bud break
Turn and loosen planting bed soil
Pull early weeds before they establish
Refresh mulch depth in beds for the season ahead

In the Pacific Northwest, the difference between a property that looks great by May and one that's still recovering in June is usually what happened in October and March. Fall clean-ups done right protect turf and bed plants through the wet season. Spring prep done at the right time sets growth patterns for the full season. We do both with the same attention we'd give a full installation, because the care is what protects the investment.
“The season you get is the one you prepared for.”
