Lawn Care
A consistently maintained lawn isn't just about appearance, it's about turf health. We mow at the right height, edge clean lines, and keep your lawn on a schedule that matches how Oregon grass actually grows.

The Service
Lawn mowing in Oregon isn't a fixed-interval service, at least not if you care about the turf. Cool-season grasses in the Portland Metro grow fast in spring, slow in summer heat, and pick back up in fall. A weekly schedule in April makes sense. That same schedule in August stresses grass that isn't actively growing. We adjust frequency to what the turf needs, not what's easiest to schedule around.
Every service includes mowing at the correct height for your turf variety, string trimming around all beds, structures, and obstacles, edging along all hard surfaces, and blowing clippings from hardscape. Clean lines, consistent height, nothing left behind. Residential and commercial properties serviced throughout the Portland Metro on weekly and bi-weekly programs.

5core dimensions
We mow at the height appropriate for your turf variety, typically 3–3.5 inches for cool-season Oregon grasses. Never more than one-third of the blade removed per cut. Scalping causes stress and opens turf to weed pressure.
Frequency adjusted for seasonal growth rate, more frequent in spring, pulled back in summer, adjusted again in fall. Your turf's health determines the schedule, not a fixed calendar.
All edges around beds, fences, trees, structures, and obstacles trimmed clean on every visit. No uncut fringe left around landscape features.
Crisp edges along all sidewalks, driveways, and patio borders, kept clean and re-cut when growth softens the line.
All clippings blown from hardscape, walkways, and driveways on every visit. Property left clean, not just mowed.

The work most crews speed through is the work that decides whether your turf thrives or struggles. Sharp blades, correct height, alternating patterns, and trim work that doesn't leave fringe behind.
Mow at correct height for turf variety, never scalp
Alternate mowing pattern to prevent compaction and rutting
String trim all obstacles, beds, and fence lines
Bag or mulch clippings depending on turf condition and season
Blow clippings from all hardscape surfaces

A lawn looks maintained when the edges are clean. Fresh hard lines along every sidewalk and driveway, defined bed-to-turf transitions, and a property left blown clean every visit.
Edge all sidewalks, driveways, and patio borders each visit
Re-cut soft edges when growth encroaches on hard surfaces
Define bed-to-turf transitions on scheduled visits
Remove edge debris and trimmings from hardscape
Flag turf health issues, disease, pests, or irrigation gaps, on every visit

Lawn care done poorly is just grass cut short on a fixed schedule, regardless of what the turf needs. Done correctly, it's a practice that keeps your turf dense, healthy, and weed-resistant season after season. We mow at the right height, at the right frequency, with sharp blades, because dull blades tear grass instead of cutting it, and torn grass browns at the tips and invites disease. Details that most crews skip. Details that make the difference between a lawn that looks maintained and one that looks great.
“A great lawn is cut right, not just cut often.”
